TENBY U16s 5 HERBRANDSTON U16s 1
Tenby Under 16s, sponsored by Willow Carpentry, won this top-of-the-table battle against second-placed Herbrandston to go five points clear.
Tenby, playing with the slight wind, should have had the game wrapped up by half-time, but were guilty of some poor finishing. Herbrandston looked dangerous on the break, but the home side's defence of Greg Lees-Griffiths, Dan Edwards, captain Curtis Hurlow and man-of-the-match Alex Heesom were superb. However, they only held a one-nil lead, thanks to an Ashley Andrews strike, going into the break.
Tenby knew Herbie would come at them strong in the second period and so they did, equalising within 10 minutes, with a good shot from the edge of the box. The Seasiders regained the lead after Andrews's free-kick hit the crossbar and Declan Carroll fired in the rebound.
Carroll turned provider for Tenby's next goal, when he deftly chipped to the far post for Will Thomas to head in, and Thomas grabbed his second when Hurlow crossed, again to the back post, for Thomas to head home.
Tenby's last goal was an individual effort from Ashley Smith, who outstripped two defenders and squeezed his shot in between the Herbie 'keeper and the near post.
Tenby side: J. Roberts, A. Heesom, G. Lees-Griffiths, C. Hurlow, D. Edwards, A. Andrews, J. Finnegan, J. Richards, D. Carroll, W. Thomas, A. Smith, J. Delahunty, P. Elliott, R. Fairlie.

CLARBESTON
ROAD U14s 2
On a beautiful crisp and clear morning, Tenby faced Clarbeston Road again, only this time in the league, and continued where they left off in the previous week's cup game, dominant from the outset.
Cheyne opened the scoring, unleashing an unstoppable shot after some skilful footwork got him past several players. Clarbie then equalised, but Tenby lifted their game to even higher levels.
Elliot, Hugo and James scored one apiece, with George in goal making a stunning save.
After the break, Elliot pounced for his second following a fumble.
Clarbie snuck another back, before Hugo added two more to complete his hat-trick.
Jack donned the goalie shirt, leaving George free to roam, but it was Sam, determined to add his name to the scoresheet, who rounded off Tenby's goal tally.
This was some performance from Tenby against a Clarbie side who can no longer be under-estimated.
Thanks to coach and ref John, Ted the line, sponsors TP Hughes and Jameston Village Stores and the touchline gang.
Tenby squad: George McBeth, Cheyne Lloyd, Tom Grover, Jack Murphy, Sam Butler, Hugo Wellum, Joe Worley, Toby Rossiter, Rhys Nicholas, Elliot Goldsmith, James Adie.

Lamphey U13s 2
Tenby came out on top after an exciting top-of-the-table clash against a 10-man Lamphey.
Playing a new formation, Mansbridge and Tebbutt stuck heroically to their man-to-man marking tasks, allowing the rest of the Tenby side to put pressure on the Lamphey defence.
With Bridges and Rivers exploiting the flanks, Tenby had plenty of chances to score in the first half, but were denied after hitting the goalposts and crossbar several times, while at the other end, Brunton converted Lamphey's one breakaway chance.
Tenby fielded a different formation after the break and within minutes Morgan equalised. Wilkins then put them ahead with a long-range shot.
Mansbridge scored their third with a lovely individual goal and for a time Tenby looked comfortable. However, Lamphey never gave up and Gammer pulled one back to make it a fraught finish.
Thanks to Charles Davies for refereeing and to Steve Wilkins for running the line.
Tenby squad: Lewis Roberts, Jacob Dent, Shaun Whitfield, Nathan Wilson, Elliott Rivers, Brandon Taylor-Monaghan, George Wilkins, James Bridges, Richard Tebbutt, Ellis Morgan, Jerome Mansbridge (capt), Robert Davies, Ryan Price, Marcus Read.
St. Clears U10s 1
Tenby U10s 7
Playing at St. Clears on a dry sunny, but cold Saturday morning, Tenby got off to a great start when Conbeer scored a cracking goal after five minutes.
Murphy, James and Broadhurst played well in defence, while Moorhouse and Elms continued to push forward with the ball.
Wainwright scored Tenby's second and third goals before the break after some skilful crosses and footwork by the boys.
Shortly after the re-start, Elms slotted in a fourth after some great play.
Poole put the Seasiders 5-0 up with 10 minutes left following some great control and positioning, while Wainwright controlled well and grabbed the sixth.
Poole scored Tenby's final goal after some great footwork.
With minutes to go, St. Clears scored a well deserved goal after a breakaway.

Clarbeston Road 1
Tenby U8s 0
After drawing to Clarbie the week before, Tenby were desperate to win this match.
The game started well for Tenby, with Elliot Whereit and Rhys Morgan having some good chances.
Clarbie then got back into the game, but the Tenby defence of Lucas Probert, Jay Brace and Ollie Brown were solid at the back, showing some superb tackling. Joe Evans in goal had very little to do, but when called upon made some great saves.
In the second half, Tenby had most of the possession, with midfielders Alex Wainwright, Ethan Shapcot, Elliot Whereit and Joe Simmonds playing some great football.
The boys were doing everything right, apart from hitting the back of the net, and against the run of play Clarbie caught out the Tenby defence and broke through to snatch a winner in the final seconds of the game.
Tenby were so disappointed when the whistle blew, but they battled well and were very unlucky.
Tenby team: Joe Evans, Alex Wainright, Lewis Walters, Joe Simmonds, Ollie Brown, Jay Brace (man of the match), Lucas Probert, Rhys Morgan, Elliot Whereit and Ethan Shapcott.
