A Tenby treasure hunt taking in some of the resort's gardens is to take place to help raise funds for Tenby in Bloom.

Participants are being asked to take a trip around some of Tenby's seafront gardens to answer a series of questions in relation to the gardens as part of a Tenby Flora Explorer challenge.

Entry forms featuring the questions on can be purchased for a £1 from Tenby Bookshop in Tudor Square, Clarice Toy Shop in Upper Frog Street, The Original Ice Cream Parlour in St. George's Street, and the De Valence Pavilion, from next week.

Correct answers will be entered into a prize draw to win a book token. Entries need to be returned to the De Valence by November.

Tenby is hoping to use flower power to help win the 'Communities in Bloom' competition, this year, which features winners from all over the world from various floral and environmental programmes.

Tenby in Bloom chairman and the town's Mayor Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane and Clr. Mrs. Trisha Putwain who helped devise the questions, said they both hoped that local families would get involved with the flora explorer competition.
