The Inner Wheel Club of Tenby raised an incredible £3,500 in March of this year by selling daffodils for peace outside St Mary’s Church in aid of the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

With the start of the appeal coinciding with St David’s Day on March 1, generous supporters were happy to donate ‘a gold coin for a gold flower’ towards the cause.

The Rotary Club of Tenby also made a generous donation of £1,100 towards the total.

Grateful thanks goes to Mr. and Mrs. Scale of Four Seasons, New Hedges and the Little Pantry, Tenby who donated daffodils for this worthy cause and supported the appeal.

Presidents Judy and Meryl would like to thank all memberes and friends who braved the elements each day to assist with the collection.

All of the money raised will be given to the DEC Appeal which will help throughout the world.
