Do you know old local placenames that don’t appear on Ordnance Survey maps — old buildings, fields, lanes or footpaths?

There will be a Tenby and surrounding area community placenames workshop taking place on Thursday, October 22, between 1 and 6pm., at Augustus Place Community Hall, Augustus Place, Tenby, SA70 7DJ

The session will be hosted by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority (PCNPA) in partnership with the RCAHMW.

This workshop will be the seventh and last in a series held across the National Park in 2026.

A spokesperson for PCNPA said: “Come along to the Placenames workshop and help develop Tenby and the surrounding area’s placenames record.

“Maps and other materials are very welcome.”

Refreshments and biscuits will be provided.
