Tenby Bridge Club held a luncheon for members and their non-playing partners at the Hollyland Hotel in Pembroke on Sunday. Everyone agreed that the event was a great success.
After the luncheon, the bridge players enjoyed a game of individually scored bridge. The winner was Julie Milewski, with Wally Heaton and John O'Sullivan taking second and third place, respectively. Gerry Meaney walked away with the consolation prize.
Results of Wednesday's play: 1. Rosemary Hathaway and Irene Warlow 59.72; 2. Brenda Harris and Carmel Wiseman 56.94; 3. Irene Delahunty and Marnie Owen 54.63.
Friday's results: 1. Wendy Thornton and Denzil Evans 68.06; 2. Coral Jones and Doug Silcox 61.81; 3. Sue Batten and Maureen Poole 56.25.
It has been pointed out that last week's Friday results should have included Doug Silcox and Coral Jones in joint third place. Oops! Sorry.
