Several members attended a two-day valuable seminar held at Haverford Bridge Club last week. Sue Maxwell, an international bridge player, gave lots of helpful tips on how to improve one's game, while at the same time making it extremely enjoyable and fun. Thanks go to all concerned for organising such a great event.

The results for Wednesday, August 10, were: 1. Mags Davies and Colin Steer 60.12 per cent; 2. Frank and Jan Springett 57.74; 3. Liz Crockford and Kevin Thomas 54.17.

Friday, August 12: 1. Mike and Joy Whitelock 59.72 per cent; 2. Mike Taylor and Pam Evans 56.94; 3. Irene Delahunty and Mags Davies 55.56; 4. Irene Warlow and Coral Jones 53.70.
