Tenby Arts Club's 60th anniversary dinner had as the guests of honour Aeronwy Thomas (daughter of author Dylan Thomas) and her husband Trefor Ellis, who performed readings from her writing and that of Dylan Thomas. One of the readings Aeronwy and Trefor gave was from her father's famous play 'Under Milk Wood'. This choice of reading was especially appropriate and poignant as Aeronwy's father Dylan had given a solo performance of a final version of Under Milk Wood in November 1953 to Tenby Arts Club shortly before his final trip to America. Several Arts Club members present in 1953 were present again to enjoy Aeronwy and Trefor's performance at the dinner last Saturday at the Park Hotel.
