Tenby and District Soroptimists held their business meeting at Heywood Mount Hotel on Tuesday, December 2. The evening ended with a flower demonstration given by member Jan Griffiths, who provided lots of ideas for Christmas arrangements.
The final details were discussed for the Christmas evening at New Hedges Village Hall tomorrow (Saturday), which will include mulled wine or coffee and mince pies and entertainment with the Quaynotes. Tickets are available from Soroptimist members.
Dylis and Pam attended the regional meeting at the Aberavon Hotel last Saturday, and several members joined Soroptimist daughter club, Pembroke, for a very enjoyable Christmas meal.
Pensioners' hampers are being given to the District Nurses to distribute within the area, as well as Christmas hampers of goods and toiletries for the Women's Aid Refuge. Some 55 parcels have also been sent to the troops.
The Christmas dinner will be held at Heywood Mount Hotel on Tuesday, December 16.
