The number of tables in play swelled to the normal average of seven for Wednesday bridge. Nice to see that very tanned duo of Jill and John back at the tables. Even more pleasing was the rare seven tables in play on Friday. Result: 1. Jill and John O'Sullivan 66.03; 2. Margaret and Richard Caley 58.97; 3. Peter Grundy and Alan Taylor 58.01; 4. Irene Delahunty and Margaret Davies 57.69; 5. Kevin Thomas and Doug Silcox 53.21. Chairman Tina Torkington announced that the summer barbeque/bridge fun day is on Sunday, August 5, 12.30 for 1 pm. Dress - summery. Venue - Trefloyne Golf Club. Please make every effort to attend and do bring non-playing spouses etc. - the more the merrier. Bridge will start as soon as everyone has eaten. Duplicate bridge is played twice weekly at the Kilgetty Community Centre, Wednesday at 7 pm and on Friday at 6.30 pm. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
