Thursday, May 15, was the club's first meeting of the summer programme held at Jameston Community Hall. The club's vice-chairman introduced the evening and gave a brief explanation of the programme of events. He went on to introduce Ray Hine, one of the founder members, and himself an experienced photographer. Ray began the evening with a Powerpoint presentation talking about aperture, depth of field, shutter speeds. Following a break for refreshments, Ray continued the talk with his own images and explaining the various processes he adopted to produce the shot. The evening was attended by 15 members, with one new face, who it is hoped will continue to come along. To finish the evening, a general discussion took place about the programme and the areas proposed to visit for practical photography. Thursday, May 29 - talk on lightroom by Roy Packer at Jameston Community Hall, 7.30 pm.
