The meeting last week at St. Florence Village Hall was a workshop, with small groups gathering around laptops, to learn new tips and techniques from each other.

Lots of members had brought their laptops and with many different types of software, there was ample opportunity to try out new things. Everyone enjoyed the evening and many felt they had learnt new ways of improving their images.

The club was delighted to offer congratulations to Jill Baxter, who had achieved the highest aggregate score in natural history, and Paul Richards, who had won the ornithological section, in recent external competitions.

Everyone was also very pleased to hear that Tenby Camera Club had won at last week's Inter-Club Competition at Carmarthen, especially as two of their newer members had done particularly well. Roy Packer had scored the maximum of 20 points with his image and Dave Bolton had scored 18 points in the same battle.

The next meeting on April 9 will be a mini competition with the subject 'Red', one digital image per member on a CD.
