Last week's meeting of the Tenby and District Camera Club was a talk, entitled 'Photoshop Live' by David Rowley.
David, who has a website, explained how to use Photoshop and gave an excellent tutorial on the uses of the medium. His presentation was very quick and slick, and he gave members many hints and tips on shortcuts, methods, and techniques within the software. With plenty of opportunities to ask questions, the members were enthralled with David's speedy delivery.
After a break for refreshments, members gathered to discuss the DVDs that David had brought, for sale.
Keeping his audience laughing, David then went into even greater detail, showing how to sharpen an image, drop in a sky to a bland image, and straighten leaning perpendiculars. He finished with a very professional slideshow of his own photos of faces.
The next meeting on Thursday, March 12, at St. Florence Village Hall will be the judging of the panels competition, with judge Ian Ledgard LRPS, AWPF, PSAI. Everyone is welcome.
