Tenby Aces officially started their club rides on Tuesday.

After a hard winter's training indoors, it was great to be on the open roads in the fresh air.

Over 25 cyclists turned out for the first of the year, some old faces and some new, some young and some not so young (one was really old and called Pat!).

There was a strong showing from the girls who were very strong on the night, and also from our junior members.

Young Morgan Roberts was on fine form, staying with the lead group after hardly any training and not even breaking into a sweat!

It was also great to see Andrew Rees and Roger Allan from Narberth Dynamos Cycling Club joining, who were so fast they even missed the photograph at the end!

Hopefully, the weather for the next few months will be kind and let members enjoy more rides like this.

Their evening club rides are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, meeting at Tenby Leisure Centre at 6 pm (this will change to 6.30 pm in the next few weeks as the light improves) and Sunday mornings at 9 am, also meeting at the leisure centre.

If you fancy getting out your bike and having a go, you will be more than welcome to join. All you need to get started is a roadworthy bike, a cycle helmet and a love of the open roads. So, don't be afraid to give it a try, even if a complete beginner, as help and advice is always at hand.
