HUNDREDS joined the Harvest Hoedown on Saturday (October 24). They came in their droves and got on the Parkhouse dance floor for the Harvest Hoedown in Haverfordwest on Saturday (October 24).

The Western Shires absolutely smashed it, from those beautiful harmonies to pulling pints, they were truly amazing, the focal point of the whole event, making the organisers proud to have them at the heart of the Hoedown.

The Western Shires posted: "It’s been such a pleasure to perform at the Pembrokeshire Hoedown this evening- an incredible event packed with non stop entertainment- it was great to see so many people there! So many people in fact… that we jumped behind the busy bar to help out after our set!" (Behind the Lens Media)

But it didn’t end there: The Lainey Wilson and Dolly Parton tributes had everyone singing along and living our best country music lives! The Pembrokeshire Boot Scooters were fantastic, giving instructions to a packed dance floor.

Huge kudos goes to the incredible crew at EPS Events LTD who worked so hard behind the scenes to bring this event together - and particularly the team from The Edge Festival Solva who spent hours putting sets together and whose efforts did not go unnoticed.

Special thanks go to stage host ‘Dan Desperate’ and his wife Gabrielle, to Tim Hughes (Behind the Lens Media) for capturing some lasting memories on camera, and to Dan Mills for running the bar.

Thanks also go everyone who supported the event, who shared social media posts, handed out flyers, bought tickets, spread the word, and helped get people through the gates.

The event was supported by local businesses who got involved, and donated prizes and gifts for the Wheel of Fortune, helping to raise money for Paul Sartori Hospice at Home.

From the planning and preparation to the performances, the atmosphere, the laughter, and non-stop dancing into the night, this Hoedown was something really special.

In the words of organiser Holly Norman, it was “an incredible night”.
