Seven councillors attended the recent meeting of Templeton Community Council, held in the Chapel Hall. Minutes of the last meeting were signed as a true record by Clr. Williams (chairman). This was proposed by Clr. Priest and seconded by Clr Phillips.
Matters Arising Clr. Morse reported that about 20 people attended the Forum Meeting on October 13. An email from Planed with attendees' comments was circulated. Most were in favour of proceeding with the removal of the hedge and replacement fence, also the patio area. Representatives of the community association, church and chapel are to be invited to next meeting to discuss the way forward. Clr. Morse reported that a site meeting was to take place regarding the proposed crossing at the top of the village. The bench was to be fitted by the school during the half-term holiday. Correspondence
Dyfed Powys Police - Policing Plan 2008-2011: The council was asked to highlight areas of concern locally and will respond that they are most concerned about anti-social behaviour and speeding through the village. The council had received further correspondence regarding the Welsh Language Board requirements. Clr. Gibbs was asked to consider this and report back to the next meeting.
Financial
A bank statement for the church hall was exhibited.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS
Clr. Logan asked that a sign be erected on The Green stating 'Parking on The Green is at car owner's risk' and for the clerk to check the cover offered by the community council policy. Clr. Williams said that he had not received a reply from Pembrokeshire County Council to a letter written four months ago regarding the condition of Tanners Lane. He asked Clr. Morse to raise this with highways on the council's behalf. Clr. Williams also said that NACAP had now cleared the aerodrome and left it in a good condition, but the road from the aerodrome to the Boar's Head was in a very poor condition with the surface breaking up. He would like to know from PCC why the contractors had not undertaken repairs to the highway as agreed at the start of the project. Clr. Williams was concerned that the hatched lines in front of the Boar's Head were too far apart, making them look like parking spaces and cars have been parking there. This obstructed the view of traffic turning at that junction. He asked Clr. Morse to raise this with highways and arrange clearer marking of the area. Clr. Priest confirmed that the church would be continuing to insure the Church Hall on their policy and send a copy to the community council. Mr. Preece would check the policy regarding contents cover. Clr. Priest asked for and was given the council's permission to erect Christmas lights on the Church Hall. The date of the next meeting was set for November 15 at 8 pm in St. John's Church Hall.
