A Tenby teenager was taken to hospital on Friday evening after falling from rocks near Saundersfoot. The 17-year-old sustained head and back injuries after slipping approximately 10 feet at Swallowtree Point. The youngster, who was with a party of five, managed to regain his footing and made his way to the bottom of the 12-foot sheer cliff, before collapsing approximately one-third-of-a-mile along the beach. Ambulance paramedics, coastguards and Tenby's inshore lifeboat crew went to his aid shortly before 7 pm, and he was taken on board the inshore craft to Saundersfoot, from where he was conveyed to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, by ambulance.
