The May meeting of Tavernspite WI took place in Tavernspite Village Hall.

Members were unanimous in their support of the resolution for this year's AGM, i.e SOS for Bees. All were agreed that bees are most important in providing pollination for food crops and that planting should be encouraged to provide a good mix of pollen for bees in the area.

A summer outing has been arranged to Dinefwr Castle and Gardens. More details next month.

After the meeting, Janet Morgan gave a demonstration on the art of beading. She showed members how to make earrings, necklaces and bracelets from beads.
