It was a complete about turn at Tenby last Saturday following the previous week when the Seconds and Youth games were called off. Last weekend, it was the First XV's turn to kick their heels, being told at 11.45, as they boarded the coach to Hendy, that the home side had contacted fixture secretary, Keith Walker, to advise him that they had decided that their pitch was unplayable. Despite offers to travel to Hendy and carry out an inspection along with the appointed match official (as per the rules on cancellations laid down by the WRU), Hendy were in no mood to even enter any discussion, so the match was postponed and will be played at a later date.
