The stocky left-hander hit seven 6s and eight 4s and was supported by his brother Damian with 27.

Whitland had an exciting win off the last ball of their match at home to Hook after bowling out the visitors for 129. Matthew Davies was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 34 as Mick Halton with 31 and Jamie Phelps with 29 were the main run-getters for the visitors.

Martin Fletcher chipped in with 16, but Pembroke were bowled out for 89.

The situation looked quite promising for Pembroke when Haverfordwest lost two wickets without scoring and it was a bit of a struggle for the Town to reach 40 for 5. However, Clive Tucker held one end firm and Phil Kirkby attacked from the other end, hitting five sixes in an innings of 62 not out to steer Harfat to a five-wicket win.

Llangwm skipper Darren Brick did his best to upset the applecart with 5 for 13 from 11 overs, but the Lawrenny batsmen held their nerve.

DIVISION FIVE
In a low scoring match at St. Ishmaels, the visitors, St. Florence, won by 15 runs, despite being bowled out for 65.

The Tish batsmen found run scoring more difficult than the St. Florence team and they were bowled out for 50. R. P. Rice took 4 for 18 and Tommy Roberts demonstrated his all-round qualities to take 4 for 20.
