On Monday, members of the Rotary Club of Saundersfoot were pleasantly surprised to find Klaus and Petra Graff waiting to join them for the evening's meeting.

Klaus and Petra live near Dieburg, which is approximately midway between Babenhausen and Darmstadt, some 30km south of Frankfurt. They, therefore, live some considerable distance from a coastline and are really enjoying their holiday in Pembrokeshire.

This is their second visit to Pembrokeshire and they have already re-visited Barafundle Bay, Bosherston Lily Ponds and Cresswell Quay. The beautiful autumn weather this year has really enhanced their holiday and experience of Pembrokeshire life.

Klaus is a member of the Rotary Club of Dieburg-Babenhausen and brought best wishes from his club president and members to the members of the Rotary Club of Saundersfoot.

He and his wife enjoyed meeting Rotarians from around the world and seeing how different clubs in different countries operated. They have found that wherever they have travelled the Rotary family always makes them welcome.

At the close of the meeting, there was an exchange of club banners.
