There can have been few more glorious late September days than last Saturday, which heralded the beginning of the 11th Tenby Arts Festival. The weekend presented many opportunities for all the family to enjoy outdoor fun in the Indian Summer while an impressive variety of arts events in different venues around the town have delighted large audiences.
Concerts and dance are reviewed within this edition but there are still two more days to enjoy as the Festival continues today (Friday) with perennial favourites Laurie Dale and Pauline Allen playing at The Pam Pam at lunch-time, and Clement Freud entertaining at the De Valence Pavilion in the evening as he talks about his life.
Tomorrow afternoon will offer the opportunity to enjoy a talk by writer of blockbusting best-selling novels, Penny Vincenzi. This will be followed by an illustrated talk by popular Laurie Dale (see People Page) then the Festival will draw to a close when the voices of the world famous Bach Choir will rise in a programme of Reflection and Celebration in beautiful St Mary's Church.
