Pictured is Linda Unsworth, of Narberth, cutting her retirement cake at Sunnybank Residential Home. Linda retired on Tuesday, having completed 40 years at Sunnybank. The majority of her time was spent as cook in the kitchen, but she had been a carer for the last seven years. Residents, staff and former staff joined Linda for a celebration tea at Sunnybank when she was presented with gifts and cards. Cynthia Beeken provided musical entertainment and a very pleasant afternoon was spent, with many stories and memories being shared by staff and residents. Linda will be greatly missed by everyone and is wished a long, happy and healthy retirement by all her colleagues and residents at Sunnybank. Tomorrow (Saturday), Sunnybank is holding a strawberry tea from 2 pm onwards and would like to welcome friends old and new. There will be various stalls and a raffle.
