On a beautiful, hot, sunny day, St. Johns corner in Tenby was covered in flags, stalls, and people. The ladies of the church were there in their mob hats, making and selling hot Welsh cakes, and the human ‘pin ball machine’ made lots of noise when somebody won a full line. The pirates’ pot of money was won by a couple from Saundersfoot. The height of the carnival puppet, St. John, was 8 ft 1.5 inches, and guessed by a visitor to Tenby. The cake stall and morning tea was in the main hall, and visitors and locals alike enjoyed the respite from the sun. St. Johns Church thanks everybody, and welcomes everybody to visit again, on a Sunday morning at 11 am, the Wednesday coffee morning, or Monday afternoon craft group.
