On Saturday, 35 Pembrokeshire Ramblers enjoyed a seven-mile walk in the Roch area.
The preceding few dry days meant that conditions underfoot were not as wet and muddy as in recent weeks. The weather continued to be kind, as what started out as a rather damp morning soon developed into a lovely sunny day.
The walk started outside the school and passed through Woodhawk, before crossing the stepping stones and ascending Rhyndaston Mountain. The views from the top of the length of St. Brides Bay and the north of the county made the climb well worthwhile.
The route then slowly descended, taking in stunning woodland paths. Initially, the route followed the gushing stream through old woodland from Little Rhyndaston, before a lunch stop beside Brandy Brook. The walk continued over a second set of stepping stones, then along the banks of Brandy Brook, before returning to Roch via the Mill and a final climb up to the Castle.
