A summer of fun for everyone is just around the corner. Whatever you want, whatever you do, we've got just the thing for you to make this your most active school break ever. With London's Olympic bid having been won on their promise to promote sport to our youth, the team at Pembrokeshire Leisure has put together a full array of activities to keep our youngsters busy. And who knows, come 2012, we may see some athletes from the county display their skills on a wider stage. To highlight our commitment for providing a brighter, healthier future, we're letting our kids go swimming for free. That's right! It won't cost a penny and what's more, taking a dip has never been so much fun. Our county's toddlers can experience the delights of the pool at one of our many fantastic inflatable sessions. The big giant Lobster and the all-new inflatable run are already proving a success, as is Sid the Slide who lives at Crymych Leisure Centre. For those who think they're too big for such frivolous frolics (although let's be honest, there's a big kid in all of us), The Pembrokeshire Leisure team is running a series of swim-fit and aqua-fit sessions. Both courses are run by highly trained instructors who will ensure you go back to school in tip-top condition. But the fun doesn't stop in the pool. For the less aquatic among you, there's a series of other activities on offer to suit every age group. For those aged under four there's soft play, fun and games and art and crafts to name a few, while those aged four to eight can enjoy the delights of a bouncy castle, aquacise and other pool activities. We are also pleased to offer multi-activity days from 9 am to 5 pm throughout all centres, with activities ranging from fun games and non-competitive games to all sorts of sports. Eleven to 16-year-olds have more activities to choose from. There's boxercise, junior fitness and circuits, as well as golf and tennis classes. And if none of the above tickles your fancy, then why not give cricket, hockey or rounders a go? All of the activities are fully supervised and from just £7 a day it's cost effective too. There are also many opportunities for Mums and Dads, Grans and Granddads to make the most of our county's leisure facilities; indeed, becoming a Pembrokeshire Leisure member has never been so easy.
