Following last year's successful summer market series on South Parade, Tenby, Tenby Events, in co- operation with Pembrokeshire County Council and Tenby Town Council, would like to take this opportunity to announce the 2006 series - June 25, July 2, 16 and 30 and August 6, 13 and 20.
The first market on Sunday, June 25, will coincide with this year's Pembrokeshire Fish Week Day in Tenby, a big attraction for local residents and visitors. Events will be happening all around the town including our market.
Pitches will cost £25 and £35 with stall (2005 prices). Anyone wishing to hire a stall from Tenby Events these can be hired on a first come first served basis.
Please also note that all stalls must have Public Liability Insurance. The organisers will not consider allocating a stall to a trader until they have a copy of insurance cover prior to the market date.
The market on Sunday, July 30 and August 13 will be located in Tudor Square as the organisers are joining Tenby Round Table 'Harbour Spectacular' in their daily celebrations. If consent is not given, the market will be held on South Parade.
"We aim to have 20 stalls in South Parade on the designated Sundays, throughout the Summer months. So far the response from stallholders has been very positive, there are a few stalls still available," explained Cherylee Barker, events co- ordinator.
"We aim to continue developing and organising Tenby markets throughout the year, with our focus being about local handmade crafts and produce." To book and register for a pitch, please use the Pembrokeshire County Council application form enclosed, stating your name, contact details including email address if applicable, together with the type of goods you would be selling. Please note that priority will be given to local arts, crafts and local produce stall holders.
