Sir,

I try to come to Tenby on holiday at least once a year. I missed last year, so myself and my family took a break early this year. We had lovely weather, so we indulged ourselves with walks across your lovely beaches.

When we came to Tenby harbour, where our children usually play, we were disgusted by the beach and surrounding area. There was what seemed to be graffiti on the lovely old stone walls, we had nowhere to sit, the cafe was shut and our children could only play on part of the sands due to the beach covered in chains.

It is such a shame. Tenby is a beautiful place, but with all the shops closing down, the beaches should be a focus of the council's attention.
