Saundersfoot schoolboy Charles Goldwait (pictured) has recently finished a very successful rowing season. Charles who rows for his school, Cheltenham College, was a member of the junior Welsh coxless four which won a bronze medal a the National Championships in June. In July, he was selected to represent Wales again at the Home Counties International in Nottingham, in both the coxless four and the coxed eight. In both finals, the boat achieved a creditable third. Charles, who has just taken his GCSE exams, can look forward to rowing in the school first eight at the Henley regatta next year.
