A very successful afternoon tea, organised by the Manorbier Newton Shalom House Fundraisers and held in the village at Rose Cottage, raised over £1,000 for Shalom House Trust. Thanks go to Mr. McNamara, of Drim Farm Foods, Llawhaden, who donated their wonderful Pembrokeshire clotted cream for the scones and to all the kind individuals who donated raffle prizes. First prize in the raffle was a coffee maker, which was won by Mrs. June Glennester. The weather was very summery and everyone was able to enjoy the pleasant surroundings of Mr. and Mrs. Brickell's garden, who kindly hosted the event. Live musical entertainment was provided by Kim Brickell, Ieuan Davies and Steffan Davies. Thank you to everyone who supported this event and the organisers hope everyone had a lovely time.
