A GROUP of young engineers from Dyffryn Taf School have again enjoyed success in a prestigious design competition.

Team Dragon from the Whitland school once again took up the BAA Challenge to design and make an environmentally friendly, eco-powered model racing baggage buggy, similar to those at airports that transport luggage from the terminal to the aircraft ready to be loaded into the cargo bay.

Having won their regional heats, Team Dragon members Tom Banner and Matthew Pilot, of Llanteg, and James Newman and Jack Brenan, of St. Clears, will now represent Wales in the National Final of the BAA Challenge, to be held at Gatwick Airport on Thursday, July 16.
