A man from Pembroke who stole nearly £10 worth of cheese, bacon and honey from a supermarket has been fined by a court in Haverfordwest.

Forty-one-year-old Mark Ion, of Powell Close, pleaded guilty to the charge of theft from the Lidl store in Haverfordwest, on September 1, when he appeared before District Judge Vivian Manning-Davies on Tuesday.

The defendant was fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
