Sir, I would like to thank everyone I have met over the Christmas break who were concerned how I am. After seeing the pictures of all the new developments in the Observer last week, I must add that being a resident at Glendower House is not such a pretty picture! I can confirm that I am still living there, although the heating was off during the Christmas and New Year period. Thank you for the gloves and to all the people who kindly lent me electric radiators. I am still in residence, despite the asbestos scare, the telephone being disconnected for one week when the old Information Centre was demolished and being sent the bill for re-connection and the various developers' officials trying to convince me to leave. As a pensioner, Glendower House has been my home for 21 years. I wish all my friends still to visit - it is not too dangerous and they will have the usual welcome, but if concerned, I have a hard hat they can borrow!

Sue Eynon-Crockford, Tenby.
