Saturdays certainly provide dry weather for the Steps2Health walkers, although a Narberth couple had driven through heavy rain to reach the sunnier region of Tenby (writes B.S.). Taking into consideration the state of the tide, direction of the wind and likelihood of muddy paths, volunteer trained walks leader, Lyn Evans, took the large group on a circular route which took us out to Kiln Park Filling Station via the golf links path and past the kilns. It was then along the Marsh Road, cutting through to Heywood Lane. Walkers were given the option of extending the walk up Serpentine Road and round Narberth Road or taking a more direct route back with Barbara and Val to Church House where we all met up to join the Friends of Tenby Museum and Art Gallery coffee morning. It has to be said that at least one of our members seems to be making a career of winning raffle prizes! Unfortunately, gremlins were at work in last week's report and the omission of one line resulted in incorrect dates being printed. The Steps2Health coffee morning at Church House takes place on Saturday, June 2, and will be preceded by a walk. Tomorrow (Saturday) promises us an interesting walk as part of the intriguing sounding 'Penally Experience'. Walkers can meet at Somerfield to catch the Silcox bus which leaves at 10 am or meet at Penally Station Car Park 10.30 am. All are welcome. No charge!
