Pupils from Stepaside School have been busy raising money for a good cause recently, by taking part in two sponsored events in aid of the NSPCC. Firstly, junior pupils from the school staged a sponsored spell, while infant and nursery children helped raise funds by participating in a shapes and colouring game. In total, pupils managed to raise the magnificent sum of £634.38 for the NSPCC, with area representative, Mrs. Sue Hunt, who regularly visits schools in the county to give information on the organisation, full of praise for their efforts. "The pupils have pulled out all the stops in raising a phenomenal amount of money, which everyone at the NSPCC is very grateful for," she said.
