Training will commence next month for volunteers who wish to get involved with running Saundersfoot’s library at the Regency Hall.

At this month’s meeting of the Community Council, a report on the Saundersfoot Community Lead Library Steering Group was received, after the group had recently met with representatives from Pembrokeshire County Council.

The report stated that the ‘action plan’ was on track and the official date for the Regency Hall running of the Library was set for April 4

Following the Steering Group’s meeting, an ‘open meeting’ with prospective volunteers who had expressed an interest was held, with the Group delighted with the response as 12 people attended and news of possibly another seven who are also interested.

Training will be provided for eight volunteers by PCC at Tenby Library and they in turn will cascade the training to the other volunteers.
