Penally have flexed their muscles early in the season and show that they mean business as they thumped last seasons champions Hook 8-0.
Ruth Williams, Bill Jenkins, Clarice Upham and Luke Guymer winning the rink 10 shots to nil.
East Williamston travelled to Letterston and came away with a well earned draw, Paul Poole and Aubrey Streeter winning the doubles 12-4. Narberth remain unbeaten so far this season with a 5-3 win over Welfare Derek Rowan winning his singles 16-4. The Welfare rink of Brenda Manwaring J.Porter Mike Quindelin and Glyn Thomas won 7-4. Freystrop move up into joint top spot with a nail biting 8-0 victory over Phoenix with three of the games being won by the odd shot. The doubles of Colin Llewellyn and Keith Thorpe won 12-4.
In the only other main league game Little Haven beat Tabernacle 8-0 no report on this game sorry as result sheet has not yet been received.

Tabernacle 5 Narberth 3; Phoenix 6 Penally 2; M.Bridge 6 Freystrop 2; Crundale 2 E.Williamston 6; Hook 6 Letterston 2; Tavernspite 2 Welfare 6.
Tabernacle recorded their first win of the season with a 5-3 victory over Narberth. Rose Warlow Rose Thomas Nicky Thomas and Mary Owen winning their rink 12-6. Phoenix were hosts to Penally and duly won 6-2 with the doubles of Ron Bruce and Gary O'Connor dominating their game by 11-4.
Merlins Bridge move up to top spot after this home win against Freystrop. The triples of John Goodman Colin Wills and Lyndon Frayling won 8-5 to help their team win overall 6-2.
Hook were at home to Letterston and picked up a 6-2 win with the help of the triples of Shirley Hammond, Dot Banner and Marilyn Gardner winning their game 12-3. Karl Symmonds picked up the 2 points for Letterston with an impressive 14-4 win in his singles game.
Welfare travelled to Tavernspite and came away victorious with 6 points. The doubles of Phillip James and Andrew Evans getting the 2 points for Tavernspite.
Crundale were at home to E.W/ston 1st and were beaten 2-6. Katrina Elcock and Brian Sutton picking up the 2 points for the home side. Val Ruff, Stu Howe and Les Hodgson won their triples 10-5 for East Williamston.
