St. Teilo's Roman Catholic Parish and School in Tenby had an exciting month of May with great celebrations involving the younger members of the Parish.

The first event was the confirmation of 23 young parishioners from both Greenhill School and St. Teilo's School, conducted by The Right Reverend Thomas Burns, Bishop of Menevia, assisted by local Parish Priest Father Owen McGreal.

The confirmation celebration followed many months of instruction and a group visit to St. Nons near St. Davids.

Following the celebration, a buffet was held in the parish hall for all friends and family.

The following week, six children from St. Teilo's School took their first Holy Communion.

The service was led by Father McGreal and was the culmination of many months of preparation for the children.

A moving ceremony attended by many family and friends made for a wonderful day for all involved.

Many thanks go to those members of the parish and St. Teilo's School responsible for the preparation for the confirmation and First Holy communion, their hard-work and dedication is a credit to both the parish and the school.
