The friends of St. Teilo's PTA have launched an ambitious fundraising project, Play for Life.

Play for Life will be a continued programme of fundraising with the aim of reaching sufficient funds to develop new play facilities at the school.

The launch took place at a sell-out gala dinner held at Trefloyne Golf Club recently. Parents, teachers and friends came together to enjoy a three-course dinner, followed by music and dancing.

"Our first event was a resounding success, with a staggering £2,400 being raised. We are overwhelmed by the generosity and goodwill of those involved in St. Teilo's who have contributed in some way or other to raise this sum. The support has not only been from those connected with St. Teilo's, but the local community as a whole," said Nicole Ferguson, chair of Friends of St. Teilo's PTA.

"On behalf of the Friends, I'd like to thank our sponsors, who gave so generously. I'd also like to thank Trefloyne for hosting a fabulous evening."

The draw for the grand raffle took place at the dinner, with Angela Lewis from Tenby taking home one of the top prizes. Angela is pictured with Ameya and Caitlin, St. Teilo's faith ambassadors receiving an iPad Air. Congratulations!

The plans are already underway for the next fundraising events!
