There was a fairly good attendance at the meeting in Churc House on February 6. Enrolling member Ellen led the service and Mrs. Rhiannon Bridges read a portion of scripture. The annual general meeting followed, during which secretary Jean and treasurer Janet were both thanked for their clear and interesting reports. The committee and members were thanked by Ellen for all their hard work and support in the last year. Mrs. Joy Griffiths thanked Ellen for all her work with Mothers Union during her stay in Tenby and wished her every happiness in the future. Members were informed of other members who were at present indisposed - Mrs. Winnie Lamb, Mrs. Peggy Best and Mrs. Christine Goodridge. Prayers are with them and members wish them a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing them back soon. Everyone was pleased to see Mrs. Lyn Tibbitt back with them after her illness. The next meeting is on February 20, Shrove Tuesday, at 2.30 pm, when pancakes will be served and the Rector will give a talk on Shrove Tuesday. Please also remember the coffee morning in Church House on Saturday, February 24, when Plant Dewi boxes will be collected.
