The service for the three churches of Manorbier, St. Florence and Redberth were united for the Holy Communion held at St. Florence last Sunday, the Fourth Sunday after Trinity. There was a good attendance and the lessons were Exodus 19.2-8a, Romans 5. 1-8 and the Holy Gospel Matthew 9.35 10.8. The service was led by our vicar, the Rev. Victor Millgate. The text of the sermon referred to Jesus sending out the 12 Apostles to spread the Gospel, but do not go to the Gentiles and enter no town of the Samaritans, but go to the lost sheep of the House of Israel and proclaim the good news, 'The Kingdom of Heaven has come near'. The service at St. James' Church this Sunday will be commencing at 11.15 am. Everyone is very welcome and we look forward to seeing you.
