Nineteen intrepid Ramblers set off from Penally Station in mild pleasant weather on Sunday, November 21. Passing St. Nicholas Church and Penally Abbey, they walked onto high ground to see beautiful views of Tenby. A stroll through fields, quite muddy after the downpour the previous day, eventually brought them to St. Florence, where they had lunch at the picnic area by the clapper bridge. After a short tour of the pretty village, they walked back on quiet lanes and tracks, pausing to make a short detour which gave them a splendid view of Caldey Island. Several people took up June's generous offer of tea and delicious home-made chocolate cake. Thank you June. The visit rounded off a very pleasant walk.
