IT was a case of hair today gone tomorrow for four mustachioed members of the 104 Regiment of the Royal Artillery recently.
During their annual firing camp at Penally, from September 21 to October 4, the four in question agreed to shed their facial growth in aid of charity.
They were WO2 (RQMS) Terry Vaughan, Staff Sgt. Terry Arnold, Sgt. Martin Jones and Sgt. Joe Passmore.
And, as WO2 Vaughan explained, it was quite a loss, as "some had had their moustaches for about 30 years."
Gaining from the sponsored shave, however, was the Daniel Burrows Trust Fund, with a total of £185.40 being 'razored' as a result of their efforts.
The fund was set up after an appeal was launched to help send 12-year-old Tenby schoolboy Daniel, who is battling his second bout of cancer, on the holiday of a lifetime to Florida.
Daniel is seen above receiving a cheque for the amount raised from WO2 Vaughan, who expressed thanks to all who supported them through sponsorship.
