A cancer charity is reminding people about a special memorial to remember those lost to cancer starting on Christmas Eve.
It's now less than two weeks 'til Christmas Eve, when candles will be lit in St. David's Cathedral, in remembrance of those who have lost loved ones to cancer.
The Candle of Hope appeal is being organised by World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) and will start on December 24, with the memorial candle burning from Christmas Eve through to Twelfth Night.
As well as giving people the opportunity to remember those who have been lost to cancer, the appeal is also a chance to raise funds towards WCRF's cancer prevention work.
Teresa Nightingale, general manager at WCRF, said: "It's not far from Christmas now and we hope that many local people come to see the candle and remember those lost to cancer.
"We know how hard it is for those who have lost loved ones at Christmas, so our thoughts are with them during this emotional period.
"As well as the candle acting as a tribute, the appeal also offers hope - by raising money for our research and education programmes, people can make a positive contribution to preventing cases of cancer in the future."
