Apologies from the results secretary for the error in last week's league table which showed the Lodge with less points than they actually had!

March 1: Swan 216 Lodge 221. The two teams provided a high scoring match down on the side of the Ridgeway at Manorbier Newton, with 10 of the 14 top scores totalling 30 or more, which in sporting clay shooting is good.

The SPCL chairman, Mr. Watkins, shot a fine 27, but was eclipsed by fellow Swanlake team member, Berry Rogers, who scored a stunning 38 clays - well done Berry.

March 8: Parsonage 183 Lodge 181. The quarry boys of St. Florence scored a rare victory over a Lodge team boasting international and county shooters, with the quarry's testing layout of clays looking a lot easier than they actually proved.

Paul Goodrick and Simon Evans top scored for the Parsonage with a very creditable 33 each, with a little of the old 'fangs' aggressive style of play returning.

Top shot for the Lodge was Tony Stevens with 31.

Back at the Parsonage Farm Inn, Deena turned a few of the heads present with her holiday stories and photos and the Parsonage boys are looking forward to seeing the video now!
