Although the summer competitions are now over, members of the South Pembrokeshire branch of the Pony Club have once again been busy attending rallies and stable management sessions. A large number of the members are currently preparing for their C test, while last week many of the riders also enjoyed show-jump training.

Parents and members are reminded to book-in for rallies and training as soon as possible.

Over half-term, a working hunter clinic is being held, as well as a trip to the Mounted Police headquarters in Bridgend and a spooky Hallowe'en ride at West Orielton Farm, while in November/December, there are a number of tetrathlon, triathlon and show-jumping competitions, so please check the branch's new website for further details.

The branch has also recently donated £150 to St. Mary's Church, Carew, to help with the restoration of the church roof. The monies were raised recently at the fete held in Carew and the anniversary dance.
