The branch has already started its busy schedule. In January the following members attended a quiz at Carmarthen: Jessica Hunt, Charlotte Phillips, Gemma Owen, Sara Owen, Tiffany Roach, Kathryn Hunt, Emily Phillips, Hannah Gray, Rebecca Gray, Emma Yeandle, Kathryn Hunt and Becky Hunt.

They were not placed on this occasion, but all had a good time, even though it was quite late finishing.

The following travelled to Llandeilo to take part in a showjumping competition: Orange team: Rebecca Gray - 'Spirit', Tiffany Roach - 'Menna', Rosie Rees - 'Woody', Emily Phillips - 'Nitro'. They came seventh overall and Tiffany was third as an individual out of over 50.

Green team: Emily Pellington - 'Cally', Sophie Battisson - 'Breezer', Olivia Rees - 'Serin', Tessa Burke - 'Cosmic'. They were not placed, but all thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

James Mansell, Tiffany Roach and Sophie Battisson continue to represent the branch at the winter triathlons and have recently competed in a tetrathlon.

They all competed at Brecon and Pembrey in April and all three were selected to represent Area 18 at Taunton. Tiffany was in the Area 18 Junior team which came fourth. James was unable to compete due to injury. Well done all three.

On the April 5, the branch enjoyed a 'dismounted nature trek' and quiz organised by Mrs. Val Burke, which was followed by the annual Easter bonnet/cap parade. Mr. Mark Burke had a particularly hard task as judge, as some of the hats could probably be seen at Ascot!

Collecting Easter eggs for winning the mini members' Easter cap was Jacob Knox, with Georgia Lewis winning the Easter bonnet junior/senior section. Well done to all who took part.

The branch recently held a very successful mini/novice hunter trials event at Llanfallteg, by kind permission of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Jones, and had a very successful day.

The branch has just taken part a very hot annual camp, and once again this was held at Cresselly Home Farm, by kind permission of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Morgan.

It was a very successful week, with all those attending having a great time. A big thankyou must go to Mr. Selwyn Cole, of Cresselly Cricket Club, for all his help throughout the week; Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cole, of Cresselly Quay, for providing riders with refreshments on their ride to the Quay; and to Mr. James Andrews MFH and Mr. Simon Jones for giving up their time to take our members/parents round the hunt kennels.

Friday was time to go home, thoroughly warn out - especially the parents!

The branch's next event will be their show which is to be held at Carew Aerodrome, by kind permission of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Davies.

Schedules for the show are available from Gail on 01646 650277 or Dawn on 01646 651320.
