A meeting has been arranged for Thursday, October 1, at 2 pm, in New Hedges Village Hall. Members of the public are welcome to attend, so please go along to learn more about the local health service and to express your views.
It is still hoped that Mr. Robertson Steel will be present to speak about the Doctor on Call situation. If, unfortunately, he is not able to attend, his place will be taken by two other experts in the field of unscheduled care. Unscheduled care includes MI and out-of-hours care.
If you are unable to attend, it would be appreciated if any questions or queries could be sent to the Tenby Town Council office at the De Valence Pavilion, well before the meeting.
It would be very helpful, if anyone given clinical appointments during their treatment to ask, as a preference, for the appointment to be held at Tenby Cottage Hospital. The facilities and the nursing staff, at the hospital, are excellent and there need to be a demonstration, to the health authorities, of the desirability for many people having more appointments and a greater number of clinics there, rather than at a district hospital.
