Two Tenby residents have raised their concerns about the amount of rubbish appearing on one of the resort's beaches.
The South Beach has won a 'Tidy Britain Group Seaside Award' recently as well as the well respected Blue Flag for 2014, but local Michelle Watkins thinks that the reputation of the beach is in danger if people continue to abuse it.
"I walk down on the South Beach most mornings with three dogs, and it breaks my heart to see it in such a mess," she told the Observer.
"The rubbish down there is terrible and myself and my friend Joy collected eight black bags of rubbish on Tuesdy morning, and we would have had more but ran out of bags!" explained Michelle, who also criticised irresponsible dog owners.
"As I said, I go down most mornings as I walk three dogs and as we know they go to the loo and yes I pick it up and put in the bin, but it is such a shame that other dog owners do not do the same.
"Some people do pick up in the bags, but they forget to take it away and leave it on the beach, so please do not give us all a bad name - pick up and put it in the bin!
"We have beautiful beaches down here and that is what people come down to see," she added.
