SI Tenby immediate past president Eleanor Parker, accompanied by fellow Soroptimists Marjorie, Pam and Pauline, was pleased to be able to present a cheque to Phil Thompson, trustee for the Paul Sartori Foundation. The donation took place at the Paul Sartori shop in Upper Frog Street. Toni Dorkings, the community fundraiser for the foundation, and Marlene Price, a volunteer worker in the Tenby shop, were also present.

The magnificent sum of £1,200 was the result of two highly-successful charity events held during Eleanor’s year of office, and one of her nominated charities. Phil Thompson was delighted to receive the cheque, and thanked SI Tenby on behalf of the foundation for all their hard work and support for Paul Sartori.

Eleanor also thanked all those who had helped to raise the money; notably, SI Tenby club members, family and friends, but especially SI Tenby social secretary Pam Maggs for all her hard work in organising and promoting the charity lunch and the supper evening at the Southcliff Hotel.
