A group of skiers from Tenby's Greenhill School were recently successful in the Swansea and West Wales Annual Regional Ski Race.
The race saw possibly, the biggest entry ever in a Welsh Schools ski race. There were 146 entries and 35 teams from 28 schools.
Among the winners was Vicki Brace, who was the overall girls winner for the second year in a row with a time of 12.09.
Vicki also won the J2 category for girls in a time of 12.09, while her sister, Rebecca, 16, of Year 11, was second in a time of 14.95, and Year 12 student Rhianne Griffiths third in 16.19.
Also successful on the slope was Vicki and Rebecca's brother, 12-year-old James, of Year 7, who was first in the CH1 category (boys) in a time of 13.42.
In the J2 category (boys), Jack Williams was second in a time of 12.24, while Alex Harley was third in 14.65. Both Jack and Alex are in Year 12.
Year 11's Whitney Williams meanwhile was first in the J1 category (girls) in 14.44.
In the mixed boys and girls teams, Ysgol Greenhill A were second.
Vicki is a member of the Swansea Nomads.
Club training is at Ski Pembrey on Monday nights from 7-9 pm. The club welcomes both recreational skiers and racers of all ages. Go along on a Monday evening and enjoy training with some of the very best skiers in the UK.
